THELMA M DAVIES

Posted: May 12th, 2016

Thelma M Davies
August 19, 1963 – Apr 27, 2016 A sister, an aunt, a godmother, a mentor and a friend has left us.

Thelma grew up on the family farm south of Dewberry. Thelma adored cars, camping, hockey, baseball, her motorbike and helping out at her brothers’ farms. Thelma’s exceptional work ethic made her family proud beyond words. Thelma was warm, caring and loyal and demonstrated sheer fortitude through her entire life – a resolve that we can only aspire to.

As per Thelma’s request, no funeral service will be held.

We love her, we miss her and we hope she’s found the happiness she’s always deserved.

I was saddened to hear that Thelma had passed away. I had some really nice times with her riding our bikes. During our many coffee meetings all of us girls really enjoyed Thelma’s company. Your presence will be missed Thelma you had a heart of gold and a wonderful caring personality. Very patient and kind heart. We will remember you with that kindness and love. Ride Free Thelma!!

I was greatly sadden when I heard that Thelma was no longer with us. In the short time that I knew Thelma I grew to be very fond of her. I know she had a hard time with PTSD and we had many long conversations about how to get past it. My husband is a Fire Fighter and EMR and so I have a good understanding on how devastating it can be. I know she is at peace now and I know that I miss her very much, as you must too. She was a very good person with a big heart. I apologize for not responding earlier but I don’t get the Med. Hat News and only found out about her passing recently. God Bless to all of you. She will be in my heart forever. Karen
