IRENE (ANHORN) MARX

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the recent passing of our dear aunt, Irene Marx. She died peacefully on May 21, 2016 in Woodland, CA at the age of 93.
Auntie Irene was born on July 25,1922 in Medicine Hat, the eldest daughter of John and Lydia (Weiss) Anhorn.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Clayton (Dutch) Marx, Woodland CA., her parents and her brother T.J. (Ted) Anhorn, of Medicine Hat, sister-in-law Phyllis (Pahl) Anhorn of Kamloops, B.C., brother-in-law, Jack Witzelberger, and nephews Greg and Jody Witzelberger, all of Woodland,CA.
She leaves to mourn her passing her precious daughter, Patti, her brother Bill Anhorn, Kamloops,BC., sisters Viola (Ralph) Pinder, Medicine Hat, formerly of Redcliff, AB., and Shirley Witzelberger, Gridley CA., sister-in-law Margaret (McIvor) Anhorn, Camrose AB., and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Auntie Irene was a kind, spirited and giving lady, whose life was devoted to the love and care of her dear daughter, Patti.
Her Canadian family very gratefully acknowledge the dedication of her nephew, Burt Witzelberger and his wife Kelly, of Woodland,CA., who with their continuous love and support, made it possible for Auntie Irene and Patti to remain living in their own home until the very end.
She is with the Angels now, and Auntie Irene, you can now truly Rest in Peace, taking comfort in knowing that your family will continue to provide loving care of your beloved Patti.
