1963 ~ 2016

Mrs. Carmon Bonita “Bonny” Wells, beloved wife of the late Mr. Duncan Wells, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the age of 53 years. Bonny was born on April 7, 1963 in Calgary, AB., and was raised in Medicine Hat. She married the love of her life, Duncan, in 1994 and they spent many happy years together until his passing in 2012. They enjoyed going to concerts and looked forward to their Vegas getaways. A special moment in Bonny’s life was watching Sidney Crosby and the Penguins play their last game in the Mellon Arena. During their time together, Bonny and Duncan started Big K Pressure Testing which Bonny gave her heart and soul to. She was extremely proud of this accomplishment. Bonny was a very colourful lady who lived life to the fullest and by her rules! Her zest for life will be missed. Bonny is survived by her mother, Flo Leonard; brother, Joey and his children, Brittany, Breanna and Joey Jr.; step-sister, Dana; step-brother, Chad as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including Bonny’s “three girls”, Lana Sackman, Jackie Meyer and Cindy Reesor. Bonny was predeceased by her husband, Duncan Wells; father, Joseph Leonard; step-father’s, Jim Hann and Cliff Desmarais. At Bonny’s request, there will be no formal funeral service held; her request would be for her friends to raise a glass and have a final toast in her honour. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Bonny’s name may be made directly to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o MH & District Health Foundation, 666 – 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6. I don’t get the newspaper. i heard of her passing from a friend. I hope you get this message sent to you and know that it is always hard to loose a sibling like we did with Reggie.
