Philip “Phil” Henry Stach, beloved husband of Jeanette Stach of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Phil also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Maureen (David) Chauvet of Red Deer, Mark (Belinda) Stach of Calgary, and Sherry (Warren) Malinowski of Medicine Hat; eight grandchildren, Tara Stach, Alyse Stach, Konrad Stach, Mikhail Chauvet, Zachary Chauvet, Elijah Chauvet, Michael Malinowski (Calli), and Christie Malinowski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Emanual and Elisabeth Stach; four brothers; and six sisters. Phil was a well loved, dynamic man who took pride in his family and many friends. He loved the Lord in his own special way. Phil was passionate about everything that was important to him and never loved part way. He cared about everything and anyone that touched his life, and always took the time to talk to the people he met….whether he knew them or not, whether they were 2 or 99. He could turn a 5-minute encounter into a life-long friendship. His infectious smile and twinkling green eyes opened doors to countless happy experiences. Phil’s competitive, determined spirit and spark carried through in hockey, golf, bowling, and cards. He was taken from us too soon!
