Obituary Picture_Wiebe
November 4, 1917 – June 25, 2016

It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of a much loved husband, father and grandfather, after a long life, well lived. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Mona; children, Marie (Randy), Theresa, Anthony (Melanie), Michelle (Brent); special family member, Raeann and his adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 4 legged friend, Kasey. He was heartbroken by the sudden loss of his son Murray in 2012 and looked forward to being re-united with him again. Everyone who met him loved him, young and old alike. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. In honouring Jules’ wishes, no public funeral service will be held. A private family celebration will take place at a later date. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting our website at www.cooksouthland.com) If friends so desire, donations in memory of Jules to the Salvation Army, 164 Stratton Way S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1B 3R3, would be appreciated.

2 Condolences for “JULIUS (JULES) WIEBE”

  1. Freda and Harold says:

Our condolences to you and your family Theresa. I will always remember your dad he was so kind. He was one of the first people we met when we came from England and bought the store at Orion. You are so fortunate to have had him for such along time. My dad have been gone 52 years, and I still miss him. Hugs to your family Freda Elliot Bertelsen.

  2. Sharon Degenstein says:

I’m so sorry for you loss. Jules hired me at Horne & Pitfield Foods in 1976 for my very first office job. After working for various companies for the past 40 years, I must say that Jules Wiebe was the best boss I have ever had. He had a way of making you WANT to work. I had so much respect for him. He was a very kind man and will always have a special place in my heart. Remembered fondly.
