Donovan Rory Weiss of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at the age of 20 years. Donovan leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Dale and Chandra Weiss; his brother, Darrick Weiss; his sister, Deanna Weiss; his special friend, Trinity; and his grandparents, Gerda Aasman and Don & Margo Weiss. Donovan was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry Aasman and Muriel & Manny Raber; as well as his uncle, Rory Aasman. Donovan was born on November 3rd, 1995 in Medicine Hat. He attended Ross Glen School, Irvine School and Eagle Butte High School. Donovan enjoyed hunting, fishing, farm life, and his daily trips to Tim Horton’s. A special thank you to the Kurpjuweit family for their interest in Donovan. An informal graveside service will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Steve Pahl officiating. Those attending are asked to wear their ‘favorite camo’ and meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Memorial gifts in Donovan’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, #204 – 1865 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1Z8.
