On July 23, 2016, Mrs. Anne Marie Pielak (Hankins) of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Medicine Hat, AB., passed away peacefully at the age of 59 years.
Anne Marie will be lovingly remembered by her only daughter Terah Pielak; brother, Larry Hankins (Penny); sisters, Stella Arndt (Ralph) and Faith Schattle (Neil); as well as six nieces and nephews.
She will also be remembered by her grand dog Zola and the numerous foster children that were in her care. She was predeceased by her father Lawrence Hankins, and mother Lucile Hankins (Goller).
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 1p.m. at Park Place Funeral Home, 51 Broadway Blvd., Sherwood Park, AB. Final resting place will be in Medicine Hat, AB. Cremation has already taken place.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Zebra Society of Alberta, or Little Warriors Association.
Hello Faith and Family.. Faith it has been many, many years since we last saw each other but I was just going through the Gone and not Forgotten looking for someone when I saw this picture and I knew it had to be a Hankins girl. Sure enough it turned out to be Anne Marie. I am sorry for your loss- she was so young. It’s amazing how little she changed in her looks in all these years. I wish you well.
