Mr. Robert Vincent Rex, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his children at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Robert will always be remembered in the hearts of those he left behind; son, Darrell (Sylvie) Rex; daughter, Lisa Rex; grandchildren, Kyla (Anthony) Darr and their children; Kallyn (Cole) Dinning; brother, Clyde Rex in Newfoundland as well as numerous relatives including Mary Price in London, Ontario. Bob was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Rex and Margaret Tatum. He will also be missed by the many friends and family including, Mary Gauthier and her family. A special thanks to Nick Mudrack for all the prayers. A Graveside Service will be celebrated at Hillside Cemetery on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Dr. Marcel Mitchell officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, between 9:30 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. to join the procession to Hillside Cemetery.
