1927 ~ MACK ~ 2016

Emma Mack of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Emma leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Frederick (Emma) Mack of Medicine Hat; two sisters-in-law, Marion and Irma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Emma was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Christina Mack; four brothers, Bill Mack, Albert Mack, John Mack and Archie Mack; and one sister, Martha (Chris) Seitz. Emma was born in the Manyberries’ area. It was here that she was raised and educated, attending Delayed School and Peigan School. Emma furthered her education in Medicine Hat at St. Theresa Academy and Garbutt Business College. Her work career began at the Medicine Hat Steam Laundry, then the Crystal Dairy and concluded with the City of Medicine Hat where she was employed for 31 years and 2 months. Her interests included crocheting, needlework and the time she spent with family and friends. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi for four years. A Private Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Friday, September 2nd, 2016.
