January 9, 1937 – September 10, 2016

It is with sadness the family of Odette Campbell announce her peaceful passing at the Ross Payant Nursing Home in Assiniboia, SK in the early hours of Saturday, September 10, 2016, after a long struggle with dementia and alzheimers. She will be missed by her children Ken of Moose Jaw, Debbie of Moose Jaw and John (Maude) of St. John’s. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren Rob, Denniel, Rykker, Brock, Lori and Jason. She is survived by her brother Ken (Gwen) and family of Lumsden, SK, her sister Sylvia (Don) and family of Stettler, AB, and by many other relatives who kept in contact with her over the last few years. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff of the Ross Payant Nursing Home in Assiniboia for the fantastic and loving care they provided mom during her 2-1/2 years of residence. We would like to give a special thanks to the Care Aides and Nurses who gave so much time, love and exceptional care 24/7 to mom during her time there. Mom loved all of you. At Odette’s request, there will be no funeral. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Odette’s name to your local animal shelter or pet rescue organization.
