Posted: September 15th, 2016Dale James Mytton, beloved husband of Wendy Mytton of Redcliff, passed away on Monday, September 12th, 2016 at the age of 60 years. Dale also leaves to cherish his memory two sons, David and Darcy (Joanna); one daughter, Danessa; one grandchild, Avery; five brothers, Ivan (Cheryl), Dwayne, Neil, Barry (Sandra) Barnes, and Darrell (Terri) Barnes; two sisters, Linda (Miles) Johnson and Sandra Mark; one sister-in-law, Beverly Barnes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his biological father, William (Pat) Barnes. Dale was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Shirley Mytton; and his brother, Steven Barnes. Dale was born on May 19th, 1956 in Lacombe, Alberta, and married Wendy Schafer in Medicine Hat on July 25th, 1981. Dale worked for 30 years at Goodyear and happily retired in 2013. He loved sports, and didn’t miss an opportunity to witness a Tigers game or go for a round of golf. If one ever wondered where he was or what he was doing, Dale could be found walking his beloved dogs down the streets of the town he called home. He was a very jolly man with a wonderful laugh and he was the proudest grandfather. He was very passionate about donating blood as he had given over 150 times. Dale will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Monday from 9:30 to 10:25 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, September 19th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow at the Redcliff Cemetery. We were shocked to read about Dale’s passing. May God wrap his warm strong loving arms around you and your family!!! May He also give you strength, peace and guidance as you journey down this path!
