Jack Sayers Tewsley passed away peacefully on the Palliative Care Unit at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the age of 87 years. He was born on May 26, 1929, in Calgary, Alberta. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Theresa of 65 years of marriage; children, Greg (Marny) Tewsley, Kathy (Colin) Bryksa, Joan Desjarlais, Wendy (Jack) Magro and Les Schwabe; his 14 adoring grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also mourning his life are sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Louise. Jack was predeceased by his youngest daughter, Christine; son-in-law, Ken and granddaughter, Quinn; as well as his four siblings. Prayers will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Philip Le, Celebrant.
