It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Mr. L.A. (Verne) Schneider, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, at the age of 66 years old. Verne leaves to cherish his memory and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Brenda of 46 years, daughter Spring Ellen (Clint), son Wade (Aska), four beautiful grandchildren Brooklyn, Madison, Lucian and Ella, mother Gladys, sisters Marlene (Bryan) and Peggy (Rick); and numerous relatives and friends. Verne was predeceased by his father Archie and sister Pamela.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28 at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue Stony Plain. In lieu of flowers, those that wish can make a donation to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 that provided so much support and care to Verne.
