1930 ~ DENGIS ~ 2016

Paul Gerard Dengis, beloved husband of Grada Dengis of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Paul also leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Dan (Brenda) Dengis, Terry (Nicole) Dengis and Francis (Natasha) Dengis; one daughter, Myriame McLeod; seven grandchildren, Shaun (Christine) Dengis, Stephanie (Kippy) Yerxa, Leah (Mike) Wollersheim, Marissa Dengis, Taylor Dengis, Jeff McLeod and Trent (Carole) McLeod; six great grandchildren, Clara Yerxa, Bo Yerxa, Cassidy Dengis, Scott Wollersheim, Emma Wollersheim and Mathew Wollersheim; one brother, Jean Dengis; one sister, Marie Reine Wesel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Juile and Germaine Dengis. Paul was born on December 10th, 1930 in Belgium. He married Grada on April 16th, 1955 in Holland. Paul and Grada immigrated to Canada in 1957, settling in Calgary. Paul worked as a finishing carpenter for 60 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling. Paul was a good husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will take place.
