Our dear Mur is gone; as a soft-spoken, gentle and kind-hearted man, he made a lasting impression in the lives of his family and friends. As early as the age of four he displayed the marks of genius, taking apart vacuums and reassembling them in working order. His curly auburn hair and freckles were the delight of his family and friends. An accomplished skier in his youth, he had the potential to make it to the Olympics. He was a clever and talented carpenter and builder as evidenced by the many beautiful homes he built in Canmore and Banff. While this has been a profoundly sad and difficult journey for all of his family and friends, we are thankful for having known him and pray that he has finally found peace. He will be missed very much.
