Forever in our hearts

Tony Greenstein passed away peacefully at St Joseph’s Home (Carmel Hospice) on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Left to cherish Tony’s memory are Deborah Johnston, Kim Greenstein-Stark, and Troy (Lisa) Greenstein; grandchildren, Christine Johnson (Chad Nelson), David (Jessica) Unger, Nicholas (Rachel) Stark, Victoria Stark, Taylor Greenstein, Morgan Greenstein, Ryder Greenstein, Hunter Greenstein, Ty Leicht, Cory Leicht and Morgan Leicht; and five great grandchildren. Tony is also survived by his two siblings, Caroline Van Maarion and Joe Greenstein. Tony also leaves behind to cherish his memory his special nephew and friend, Robbie, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Doris; his siblings, Mike, Louie, Rosie, George, Clara and Frances, and his parents, Nickolas and Katrina Greenstein. Tony was a man of many talents. He was involved in sports, hunting and he loved animals. He was a salesman and he enjoyed helping friends and family, immediate and extended and from every walk of life. We are very grateful for the excellent care from Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and St Joseph’s Home (Carmel Hospice). A special thank you to Dr. Wong who was Tony’s doctor for years. A memorial will be held at a later date in spring to celebrate his life. Memorial gifts in Tony’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.     I am so sorry to read of your dad, grandfather, great grandfather and brother’s passing. It has been many years since I have seen him and the rest of the family. Please let me know when the memorial service is as I would like to attend.
