William “Bill” McGillivray (Scotty) of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Janette McGillivray, passed away on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Bill leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Kim Van Zwan, Sandi (Kelvin) North and Jackie Meyer (Ernie Lehman); five grandchildren, Kelly Ryan (Jodi) Meyer, Nevada Meyer (Bill Lafferty), Michael (Shari) Vallely, Jennifer Davenport (Blair Rath) and Jessica (Tyler) Feicht; five great grandchildren, Jorja, Ty, Claire, Linken and Kyrsen; and two nieces, Jeannie and Arlene. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Janette McGillivray; his parents, George and Maggie McGillivray; one brother, Stewart McGillivray; and one sister, Jean Hardy. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will take place. Sad to hear of Bills passing. I really enjoyed talking with him at Meadowlands. He and Jeanette were so much fun to visit with when they sat with my mother, Margaret, at meal times. I will miss his smile. Take care. David
