KEN LOOSE

1937 ~ 2016

After spending a wonderful Christmas with his family, Kenneth Gordon Loose passed away suddenly after suffering a pulmonary embolism. Ken’s greatest joy was Jesus, but his greatest treasure in life was his family. He is survived by the love of his life, Gwen Loose, and their two daughters, Juanita Loose (fiancé, Hank Aasman) and Lorna (Darin) Hirning; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Graeme) McFarlane, Jacinda (Justin) Klaiber, Dillon Fauser, Jason Hirning, Logan Fauser and Janessa Hirning; two great-grandchildren, Kira Klaiber and Maraya McFarlane; three brothers, Archie (Orlene) Loose, Marvin (Bev) Lose and Jake (Karen) Loose; a sister, Marion (Donald) Sauder; mother-in-law, Elma Heffley and sisters-in-law, Margie, Ev and Jean as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Mary Loose and brothers, Glen (Donna) Loose, Larry Loose, Ralph Loose and Carl Loose. Ken brightened up the day of anyone who was blessed to meet him. His sense of humour permeated everything he did. He had a zest for life and looked for any opportunity to use his extraordinary humour to bring a smile to those around him. Ken had an inquisitive mind concerning God’s amazing creation. He had a thirst for knowledge and was always excited to share what he discovered with his family and friends. Ken was blessed with a wonderful singing voice which he praised his Lord with daily here on earth, and now he is glorifying God in heaven with the angels. His family invites you to join with them in celebrating Ken’s life at Hillcrest Evangelical Missionary Church, 3785 – 13 Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Pahl officiating.
