Sandra Zieffle, beloved of Gordon Zieffle of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 84 years.
Sandra was born on September 23, 1932 in Medicine Hat and attended primary school as well as high school there. She was the youngest of a large family; seven sisters and two brothers.
Sandra worked in a dairy bar-coffee shop and the Redcliffe Glass Factory. After marrying Gordon in 1953, Sandra spent most of her time looking after her home and raising a family. Sandra enjoyed gardening and visits from family and friends. She will be remembered for her deep love and generosity to her family and grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Gordon Zieffle; Daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Bob Sauve of Charlottetown, PEI; Son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Lawny Zieffle of Calgary; Grandchildren, Mike Holmes of Calgary, Matthew Zieffle of Kelowna, BC; Tyler Zieffle of Kelowna, BC ; Jake Zieffle of Calgary; Jenna Zieffle of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandra was predeceased by nine siblings; and her son, Steve Zieffle.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
