We regret to inform you that Ralph Alexander Gattolliat, age 69, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Donna; his son, Jimmy (wife Cari); his daughter, Dawn (husband Charlie); and his beloved grandson, Gage, they were the love of his life, along with many other family members, brothers, sisters, sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Ralph was born in Drumheller, AB to Roland & Jean Gattolliat on October 7th,1947. He married Donna on July 15, 1967 in Calgary, AB. He worked as a Locomotive Engineer for Canadian Pacific Railway out of Calgary and then Medicine Hat, Alberta for 33 years. He volunteered at AJ’s Loan Cupboard.
The family of Ralph Gattolliat wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Doctors and Nurses of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital ICU and 4 West, as well as the Alberta Health Services Home Care.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.     So very sorry Donna, I did not hear of your loss until are meeting at GFB, Tues. Feb. 7, I so wish someone would have said something, as I would have been there for you and your family. He is and was a great man, always made me laugh…Be strong as you are. My Love.
