March 7, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with great sadness that Pat’s family announces his passing on March 7, 2017, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 68. He will be lovingly and forever remembered by his wife and soul mate Vivian. Pat also leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Brigitte (William) Taylor and their children Cheyanne and Hudson of Chestermere, Alberta; his son John (Krista) Osgood and their children Sydney and Reese of Medicine Hat, Alberta; sister Joan Guidos; brother John (Connie) Osgood; sister Carol (Lance) Shaw; sister Sue Knutsen; sister Sally (Phil) Seber; brother Jim (Doreen) Osgood; brother and sister in law Mike and Leona Labrecque; and numerous nephews and nieces. Pat was predeceased by his parents Jack and Lenore Osgood; his brothers Dave and Darby. Retiring after a long career with Goodyear in Medicine Hat, Pat and Vivian made their home in Calgary and enjoyed many winters in Mesa, Arizona. He had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours researching his family roots. A kind and gentle soul, a loving husband and wonderful grandfather … you will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
An Irish Blessing:
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your field,
And until we meet again…
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
