RUTH GOLDIE

Ruth Hazel Goldie, born January 9, 1924, passed away with family by her side at the River Ridge Senior Village in Medicine Hat on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the age of 93 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, four children: Ellen Coulter, Marie Klein, Doug (Maxine) Goldie and Pat (Gail) Goldie; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, John; son-in-law, Doug and grandson, Steven Coulter; parents, Violet and Ellis Countryman; in-laws, John and Helen Goldie; 5 sisters, 3 brothers and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. Ruth had a good life and she loved her curling and dancing through the years. Her home welcomed many family and friends and there were many laughs and fun times. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her remaining years at River Ridge were very much enjoyed with daughter, Ellen.
