  1. Freda Bertelsen says:

Vivian and Millie: We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mom. She is now with your dad, and Lesley. She lived a long good life and she will now fly with the angels, watching over her children, and grandchildren. Hugs and love to you and your families. Freda and Harold.

  2. Alvin A Doerksen says:

Very sorry to hear that Edna “expired” just before reaching her century milestone.

It seems to me that the obituary has neglected to include, as a grandchild, Kerri Anna Edna Schauer, the only daughter of Leslie Schauer. Kerri Anna was named after her grandmother, and she shares a birthday with her (May 06).

  3. Terrie Brucker says:

Vivien, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. When Mom died in 2002 I was so sad and felt such emptiness because she was my last parent and ho was going to look after me now? I still feel her presence, particularly at my side when I’m baking bread! I remember your parents as being good people, kind and generous folks. Do hope you are well Take care my dear Terrie
