Robert “Brad” Thickson, beloved husband of Beverly Thickson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, June 5th, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Brad also leaves to cherish his memory two children, Tyler (Stacey) Thickson and Kimberly (Mark) Schafer; five grandchildren, Rezner, Torin, Taylor, Matthew and Max; his other daughter, Shelley Walker and her children, Jonathan and Laura-Lee and her children, Eric, Evan and Jordan; one brother, Cliff Thickson; as well as numerous cousins. Brad was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Gertrude Thickson. Brad was a business owner and was well respected in the business community. He developed a love for the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays and loved music. Brad especially loved spending time with his family, who will miss him dearly. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Life Celebrant Lynett Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Brad’s memory may be made to the Good Samaritan Day Program, 550 Spruce Way SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1B 4P1. I am so very sorry bev and family of the passing of your husband father grandfather he was a friend of mine for many years sending me Christmas cards me sending him jokes on the computer and the phone calls from him and talking to bev. So shocked to see he passed away. Big hugs to all of you. RIP brad I will never forget you. ???. My condolences to you all !!!
