Louise, beloved wife of Milton “Mel” Tenzer (married 60 years) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Louise graduated from Senator Gershaw High School in Bow Island, followed by attendance at business college in Lethbridge and began her career there as a stenographer. After her marriage to Mel she moved to Calgary and started her career in the petroleum industry. Louise took night courses at the U of C and became a Certified Management Accountant. At her retirement, she was employed as an executive with Placer CEGO Petroleum as head of finance, accounting, information systems and human resources. She was a Director of the Certified Management Accountants of AB, a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Accountants and the Council of Petroleum Accountants of North America. Louise is survived by her loving husband Mel, brothers Ralph Dillenbeck of Bow Island, AB, Steve (Rose) Dillenbeck of Waterloo, ON sisters Noela (Dan) Vandermeulen of High Prairie, AB, Diane Elliot of Edmonton AB, Joyce (Jim) Munawych of Red Deer, AB, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Louise was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Marie Dillenbeck, brother in law Robert Elliot and a niece Heather Elliot. Funeral Services will be held at First Lutheran Church (Strathcona Blvd. and 14th Avenue S.W. Calgary, Alberta) on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
