GEIB, Susan Leanne

January 22, 1977 – August 14, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Susan Leanne GEIB of Medicine Hat, Alberta, on Monday, August 14, 2017, at the age of 40 years. Susan is lovingly remembered by her parents, Doug and Caroline Geib; her brothers, Randy (Tania) and Todd (Jodi); nephews, Ethan and Kaylen; special aunt, Eleanor; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friend Chris. Susan worked for the City of Medicine Hat, loved animals and travelling and was an avid runner. Susan and Chris ran marathons all over the world – this will be Susan’s last run. Susan was a strong advocate for the Canadian/ Alberta Diabetes Foundation and supported the Cleo’s Karma Rescue Society, becoming a foster parent for numerous dogs. Donations can be made to either of these organizations in Susan’s name. A time of lunch and sharing will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Conquest Activity Centre (School) with Rev. Ron McConnell officiating. The graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Fertile Valley Cemetery (northwest of Conquest).
