1960 ~ CHARLENE ACKERMAN ~ 2017

Charlene Malinda Ackerman, beloved wife of Rick Ackerman of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at the age of 57 years. Charlene also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carey Ackerman and Kimberley Ackerman (John Horst); brothers in-law Kirby & Kelly Klimchuk; one granddaughter, Taytum Stuber; and two sisters, Sandra Taylor and Brenda (Cliff) Arnal; our special Aunt, Dot; numerous nephews. Charlene was a social butterfly and enjoyed to spending time with her friends and family. She had a special way of making people feel welcome and loved to meet new people. She spent a lot of time with her children and her granddaughter. Charlene was employed at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for 31 years. She enjoyed travelling and camping; loving the outdoors, flowers and scenery. Charlene had a zest for life and loved to live it! The family extends a special thank you to Ken and Gloria Bluekens. A Celebration of Charlene’s Life will be held at VICTORY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2793 Southview Drive SE, on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jim Bredeson officiating.     Rick, Kimmy, & Carey, and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Charlene was a wonderful person! We enjoyed so many times together while Kimmy & Lisa were in Brownies together. We lost contact after that, but I thought of her on occasion, and that always brought a smile to my face! What a huge loss to this world, as she definitely made it a brighter place!
