Posted: September 21st, 2017Lillian Verlaine Guckert of Medicine Hat, beloved daughter of Charles and Anne Myers and beloved partner of Barry Warcimaga, passed away on Monday, September 18th, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Lillian leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Darlene (Daryne) Weiss of Redcliff, Peggy (Rick) Kleiter of Medicine Hat, Jodi (Calvin) Sehn of Saskatoon, and Shawna Guckert (Dan Fercec) of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Jordan, Jaylene, Alex (Wendy), Cassi, Karissa, and Brayden; one great grandchild, Sebastian; one brother, Ronald (Coleen) Myers of Saskatoon; four sisters, Elizabeth Balser of Teeswater, Ontario, Fran (Bill) McQuarrie of Calgary, Rene (Bob) Richmond of Brussels, Ontario, and Mae (Paul) Chometsky of Saskatoon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian did amazing work at CORE. She had an infectious laugh and, as a caregiver, put everyone else before herself. Her memory will live on in her children and grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. I am so very sorry to hear of Lil’s passing. She was such a sweetheart. I have known her for years and she was always so upbeat and pleasant ==even when she was sick.
