1919 ~ AGNES STRINGER ~ 2017

Agnes Mildred Stringer of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Wes Stringer, passed away on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at the age of 98 years. Agnes leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Shirley Cotterhill, Norma (Leo) Shaw and Wendy (Neil) Tumbach; two daughters-in-law, Barbara Stringer and Janice Gottinger; two sisters-in-law, Ileen Osguthorpe and Mary Williams; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Inez Austin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Fredrick “Wes” Wesley Stringer; her parents, Frank and Annie Osguthorpe; two sons, Bill Stringer and Ron Stringer; her son-in-law, Don Cotterhill; five brothers; four sisters and their spouses. Agnes was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. A graveside service will be held at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery in Fruitvale, British Columbia at a later date.
