Edith Lydia Scholz of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Ernst Scholz, passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Edith leaves to cherish her memory four children, Sieg (Daphne) Scholz of Swan Hills, Emmy (Shane) Reesor of Walsh, Harold (Sherie) Scholz of Medicine Hat, and Bert (Loretta) Scholz of Brooks; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Meta Hepner of Ohio and Martha Fitkau of Germany; and special niece, Edith (Larry) Wood of Ontario. Edith was predeceased by her husband, Ernst; and her parents, Albert and Minna Nassut. A Private Graveside Service will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY with Pastor Shane Hein officiating.
