Edward Dwane Omilusik passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the age of 63 years. Dwane will be remembered by a brother, Rick Hanson; three sisters, Brenda Hanson, Bonnie Hanson and Angela Hanson as well as his beloved extended family with CORE. He was predeceased by his mother, Rosella Schneider and father, Edward Omilusik. A Celebration of Dwane’s Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. with Major Murray Jaster officiating. I shall always remember the beautiful spirit of our loved one Dwane. He is a friend who will be with us always and forever. For this I am truly blessed. My thought and prayers are with you now and forever. The song “somewhere over the rainbow” playing when we seen the video at his celebration or life says it all.
