1943 ~ William “Bill” Konotopsky ~ 2017

William Peter Konotopsky, 74, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 29th, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Annette Kurtz; his children, Michael (Barbara), Lana (Jack) Sehn and Brent; and his step children, Yvonne (Frank), Dean (Jackie) and Cheryl (Lester) and their families including fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by brothers, Edward (Rita), Paul (Judy) and Oryst and their families. Bill was predeceased by parents, Peter and Marie Konotopsky; and sister, Anne Marie Medjedovich. Bill worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his retirement in 2014. With his boots always ready, he was available whenever anyone called for help, whether from a former employer or somone stopping by the garage needing a hand. A visit was always welcome. He loved playing with his grandchildren and his favorite pets, Minnow and Rico. Bill always enjoyed playing or watching baseball and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
