ARDEN MARGERY GRANT

November 14, 1950 – October 22, 2017

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce Arden’s passing.

She was predeceased by her parents Rose and Lorne, her special friend Nel, and Nel’s children Bob and Steven. She is survived by her “niece” Karla; “great-nieces and nephews” Kendra (Cam), Marissa (Cody), William and Jennifer; “great-great-nieces” Harper and Sloan; Nel’s daughter-in-law, Charlie; Nel’s sister Flo (Steve) as well as their loving family.

Adequate words for the person Arden was and the role she played in so many lives are difficult to find. She was a dedicated member of all of the communities she lived in, a dear friend and colleague, and an incredibly special part of our family. We will all remember Arden a little bit     differently, but we are united in the       knowledge that she loved us all and that we loved her back. Through the stories she told us, the meals she shared, and the encouraging messages and songs she offered, Arden will continue to be a part of this world.

She requested that there be no memorial service. Instead, she tasked those she loved to be kind to one another. If anyone is so inclined, donations can be made to the Medicine Hat SPCA.
