ARNOLD PRINS

1930 ~ 2017

The family of Arnold Prins sadly announces his sudden passing on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Beloved husband of Toni Prins, Arnold went to meet his Lord and Saviour at the age of 87 years. Being the 4th of eight children, Arnold was born in Maasdijk, Holland to Huibert and Maria Prins. At seventeen, Arnold ventured to Canada with his family on the ship “Kota Inten” on May 7th, 1948. He quickly made Canada his home. While here, he and his family finally settled down in Redcliff, Alberta, where he started his greenhouse business. After twenty years Arnold retired to Medicine Hat. Well loved, he will be deeply missed by his Family, Friends and Community. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Barry (Ingrid), Arie (Jill), Debby (Albert) Den Otter; Grandchildren: Colton, Curtis (Taylor), Taryn, Evan, Eric, Liv and Owen. Arnold also leaves behind his siblings, Casey, Martin (Netty), Maria (Len) VanderKwaak, Rene Thompson, and Jenny (Casey) Stigter. He was predeceased by his brothers Huibert, and Janus. The Family invites you to a Memorial Service which will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive SE, Medicine Hat on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating. Private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
