It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that Lillian Ruth Fiala beloved wife of Ed C. Fiala, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, in Medicine Hat, at the age of 88 years. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ed; children, Cathi Fiala (Joe Henson) of Florence, AZ., Timothy Fiala (Julie Ruttle) of Osoyoos, B.C., Michael (Ju Dan) Fiala of Carmel, CA. and grandson, Dante Fiala. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Jay and Marjorie Allen and brother, Bert Allen. Ruth’s life will be Celebrated at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
