Donald “Don” Keith Hausauer of Ralston, beloved husband of the late Pamela J. Hausauer, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Don leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Keith (Shannon) Hausauer and Kenneth (Colleen) Hausauer; one daughter, Trudy (Tim) Hunt; one grandson, Ian Hunt; two great grandchildren, Layla Hunt and Amina Hunt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his wife, Pamela; his parents, Edward and Martha Hausauer; two daughters, Donna Lee Hausauer and Karen Dee Cassidy; and one grandson, Bill Hausauer. Don was born on February 22nd, 1931 in Medicine Hat and had a very happy childhood growing up in the Badlands in and around Irvine. He joined the Airforce in 1949. His family would like to thank everyone at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, especially 2N, for their care and kindness. They would also like to thank the Canadian Health Care System. Don will be missed by his family and friends. As per Don’s request, no formal funeral services will be held.
