Tenna was born in Taber on October, 14, 1957 to Flory and Veleta Unser. She grew up in Vauxhall where she raised her two good humoured daughters. Tenna lived in Lethbridge for a short period before settling down in Bow Island, with Gord McCormick. She was a warm hearted grandmother who loved visiting with family and friends. Tenna always had an animal or four by her side. She had a variety of hobbies, from cross-stitch and crafting to reading, doing jigsaw puzzles or playing games and music. You would rarely catch Tenna without her Pepsi and puppies.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Tenna’s name may be made directly to the Humane Society of choice.
