It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Martha Derheim, beloved wife of Harvey, announce her passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the age of 80 years. Along with Harvey, Martha leaves to cherish her memory their two sons, Gary (Janice McGinnis) and his children, Bethany and Danika Derheim and Gerald (Brenda) Derheim and their children, Ried (Jessica) Derheim and Kristy (Benjamin) Coxson; sisters, Ida Mack and Katie Rath; sister-in-law, Hazel Geigle and Harvey’s siblings, Norman Derheim and Agnes (Gordon) Minnes. Martha was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Rose Geigle; sister, Emma (Ralph) Ulrich; brother, Fred Geigle; brothers-in-law, Edwin Mack and Arthur Rath and sister-in-law, Jean Derheim. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Leist officiating. Private Interment will take place at the Redcliff Cemetery.
