1930 ~ DON KANEWISCHER ~ 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Kanewischer, beloved husband of Edna, on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 87 years. He is Home at last, rejoicing. Don was a man who loved the Lord, loved his family and spent a lifetime loving the land, especially his farm in the Hilda area. He was passionate about all he did, whether it was farming, constructing new homes, gardening, spending time with family or working for his church, and was blessed in all endeavors. He will be forever missed. He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life, his sweet wife of 65 years, Edna; daughter, Donna; son, Murry; sister-in-law and brother-in-law (and friend), Alice and Ephraim Haas; as well as many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 3785 – 13th Avenue SE, on Monday, January 15th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Bolender officiating. Reception to follow. A private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
