1939 ~ CAROL ATWOOD ~ 2018

Carol Anne Atwood (nee Gorham) of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, February 16th, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Carol leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years, Brant Harding Atwood; two daughters, Renae (Bryan) Stuber and Kathy Horeth; three grandchildren, Hayley McCue, Cassie Horeth and Zach Horeth; one great grandson, Jayden; and one sister, Shirley Hirsche. Carol was predeceased by her parents, William and Ethel Gorham; two brothers; four sisters; and two brothers-in-law. Carol was born on December 17th, 1939 in Magrath, Alberta. She was very creative and loved playing the piano, painting and making quilts for her grandchildren. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors on 5 East for their compassion and care of Carol. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 7 Sierra Boulevard SW, Relief Society Room, on Thursday from 12:00 until 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Jordan Mulholland officiating.
