1947 ~ WAYNE MEIER ~ 2018

Wayne John Meier, beloved husband of Mary Meier of Bow Island, passed away on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at the age of 70 years. Wayne also leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Peggy Mendryk (Dale Carneige); seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Barry (Delores) and Dale (Yvonne); one sister, Marion Wasilow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his son, Brent Meier; his parents, Jack and Helen Meier; and one brother-in-law, Don Wasilow. Wayne was born in Medicine Hat on September 9th, 1947 and was raised and educated in Saskatchewan. He was an employee with Ogilvie Mills for numerous years. As per Wayne’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Memorial gifts in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 2P5.
