1959 ~ COLIN SMITHDORF ~ 2018
Posted: April 2nd, 2018Colin Trevor Smithdorf, beloved husband of Patricia Smithdorf of Redcliff, passed away on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at the age of 58 years. Colin also leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Danica (William) Noble and their children, Gracelynn and Emmaleigh of Maple Creek, Noelle Smithdorf of Calgary, Tania Smithdorf and April (Rad) Takahashi and their families, all of Lethbridge; three brothers, Geoffrey (Irene) Smithdorf, Derek (Julie) Smithdorf and Mark (Mary) Smithdorf; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Colin was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Maria Smithdorf; his father and mother-in-law, Gene and Shirley Miller; and two brothers-in-law, Craig Borland and Allen Miller. Colin was born in Germiston, South Africa on May 20th, 1959. He spent the majority of his life working in floor covering sales. Colin enjoyed music, travelling, sky diving, scuba diving, the outdoors, camping and spending time at the gun range. Colin had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh and make people laugh. Colin was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Interment will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
