It is with heavy hearts that the family of Emily Marie Hammel announce her passing in Medicine Hat on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her brother, Philip; sisters-in-law, Gerry and Ada; brother-in-law, Joe Thome and eleven nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Tillie; brothers, Joe and John; sister, Rose; nephew, Robert and her niece, Jocelyn. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Terry Olson officiating.
