1933 ~ LUCAS DECK ~ 2018

Lucas “Luke” Deck, beloved husband of Maxine Deck, passed away on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Luke also leaves to cherish his memory his two children, Darrell (Cindy) Deck, and Donalee Deck; five grandchildren, Mandy (Ian), Marcy (Shawn), Becky (Andrew), Luke (Sydney), and Emily; five great grandchildren, Makenna, Jude, Sinead, Ivy, and Mila; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Luke was born on January 24th, 1933 in Mendham, Saskatchewan. He met the love of his life, Maxine, and they were married on July 26th, 1957, recently celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The family would like to extend special thanks to Clarence Deck and the caregivers and staff at Sunnyview Care Centre. Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Philip Le, Celebrant.
