EDWARD MASER

1923 ~ 2018

Edward Maser passed away quietly at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the remarkable age of 94 years. Forever remembering Edward are his children: Gerald (Carlotta), Annellen (Russell), Teresa (Richard) and their children; as well as grandchildren and great- grandchildren. His sister, Helen Wegner, nieces and nephews and a host of long time friends, survives Edward. Edward was predeceased by his wife, Ellen in 1985, and sisters, Clara, Tillie, and Irene and his brothers-in-law. Edward was a man of the earth. His love of the land and ranch remained with him until his final breath. He was an excellent horseman, cattleman, and keeper of the land. The family would like to acknowledge all those who made his final days more comfortable, Dr. Wong and Datta and their staff, the amazing nurses on 4 West at the MHRH, the personnel of Meadowlands Retirement community and the Home Care workers. At Edward’s request, his life will be quietly remembered by all who knew him without proceedings of a funeral service. In lieu of flowers tributes may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
