GERRY LARSON

1956 ~ 2018

It is with great sadness that we the family, announce the passing of Gerald Wayne Larson at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene; children, Shane (Laura) Benz, Shaun (Courtney) Benz, Robert Benz, Carrie Benz and Kaelee (Derek) Anderson; four grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Ashton and Hannah Benz; brothers, Ron Larson and Don (Shelley) Larson; sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Vondrasek, Bev Larson, Fern (Ron) Allin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Olivia Larson; brother, John Larson and two siblings in infancy. Gerry grew up on a farm near Dorintosh, SK where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He worked at Meadow Lake Provincial Park and helped on the family farm. Gerry worked in numerous areas over the years and enjoyed spending time with his family. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at both 5 West at the MHRH, St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice and all of the physicians involved in Gerry’s care.
