JOHN WAGENAAR

1948 ~ 2018

While surrounded by his loving family, Mr. John Wagenaar, beloved husband of Florence, was peacefully called home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the age of 69 years. Along with Florence, John leaves to cherish his memory: daughter’s, Carla Wagenaar (Jim Stabler) and Sandra Prince; grandchildren, Jayda and Raeden and their father, Mike Prince; brothers, Fred (Marilyn), Rudy (Mary-Lou) and Luke (Karen); sister, Jane (Nick) all of Ontario as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Patricia Wagenaar and grandson, Ty Prince. John was always meticulous at his work; ensuring that all projects were completed perfectly. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing and tending his garden – which was always kept in immaculate condition. John was a loving husband, dad and papa whose love of life and family will be missed! A Celebration of John’s life will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating. A private interment will take place prior to the service at Redcliff Cemetery.
