It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Scheuerman announce his passing. Peter, beloved husband of Terry Scheuerman, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, at the age of 74. Peter also leave behind 3 beautiful daughters, Jennifer (Brad) Braaten, Kendra (Dean) Kozinski and their children Presily and Julia, Tracie (Jason) Mutschler and their children Sydney, Crosby, Adeline, Lauren & Ally; sisters Marj Cable and Katherine Peers; mother-in-law Ila Dillabough; sister-in-law Christine Scheuerman; brothers-in-law Bruce (Ros) Dillabough; Brian (Rita) Dillabough; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents Peter and Anne Scheuerman; father-in-law Ted Dillabough; brother Clayton Scheuerman; and brothers-in-law Ralph Cable and Wayne Peers.

Peter was and will always be “Just a Farmer”. He was a mentor to many and a supportive shoulder to lean on. He treated his nephews like sons, his friends like family, and was considered the corner post of his family.

He loved talking in bushels and acres but his proudest conversations were always about his family that has grown over the years. He was proud of his wife who worked beside him and supported him, his daughters and who they had become, his son-in-laws who grew roots into his heart and most of all his grandkids that all call him “Grampy”.

A celebration of life will be held at the Acadia Valley Community Hall on Thursday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral arrangements in care of MacLean’s Funeral Home, Oyen, Alberta.
