1930 ~ TENA FRIESZ ~ 2018

Tena Friesz of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Edwin Friesz, passed away on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Tena leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Rick (Barb) Friesz and Corey (Holli) Friesz; two daughters, Sherry (Walter) Elizardo and Pam (Glen) Klaiber; nine grandchildren, Richard (Anita) Friesz, Brittany (Ben) Wilton, Kyryn Friesz, Jerah Friesz, Barett Friesz, Colin Elizardo, Lindsay (Jay) Patton, Riley Klaiber and Kaylie Klaiber; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry (Kaye) Kundert; one sister, Lavene Surina; sister-in-law, Evelyn Kundert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tena was predeceased by her husband, Edwin; her parents, John and Ella Kundert; one granddaughter, Tina Elizardo; three brothers, Eddie, Emil and Albert; and one brother-in-law, John Surina. Tena was a proud member of the Ladies Royal Purple and loved the colour pink! She enjoyed spending time with family and friends who will miss her dearly. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 until 1:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, October 15th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
