Surrounded by family who loved her, Jacqueline Gwen Rogers passed into her eternal home on Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was a devoted mother, loving wife, cherished daughter, treasured sister, adored aunt and remarkable friend.
Jacqueline grew up in Medicine Hat with her parents, Warren and Arlene, and her sisters, Nadine and Michelle. After graduating from the University of Calgary, she taught in both British Columbia and Alberta. Her brilliance, love of drama, gentle spirit and compassion influenced countless young lives. In 2004, she married the love of her life and together she and Glenn raised two amazing boys, Eric and Scott. She believed her boys were God’s greatest gift to her and she loved, adored and cherished them with all her heart.
Jacqueline was a beautiful light that we are blessed to have had in our lives. She will be remembered for her humility, warmth, generosity, beauty, wit and unwavering faith in God.
Our dearest Jacqueline, our lives are so much better because of you and we will forever be inspired by your bravery, strength, courage and faith. We love you, Jacqueline, and we will miss you more than words can say.
A Celebration of Jacqueline’s Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arnie Charbonneau Institute at the University of Calgary https://netcommunity.ucalgary.ca/ jacquelinerogers
